My hair fall story
(If you’re not interested, jump to the main point down there)
Ok, so…
Umm…days back, I used to believe that I am suffering from a sort of cancer or something because I was losing an insane amount of hair chunks on a daily basis. My mom shook as well but then we figured that it is not an illness or something. It’s just my everyday stress and the batshit-ish lifestyle.
I work till late at night, wake up in a total rush the next day, tie up a tight ponytail, skip on my breakfast, head out to the workplace where I work like a beast, binge-munch junk and do the same damn stuff every day.
And past few years, I have been frying my hair and have gone from black to burgundy, burgundy to blond, blond to caramel dips then back to black..like a freak!
I went to a homeopathic doctor to discuss things. And with her guide and treatment, my hair situation is pretty much better and healthier.
So that’s why I am here help you try steps & products that saved my hair.
The Solution
1. De-stress
Stress releases bad hormones that creates physical problems and is the major victim that causes all types of bad things going on with your body. The more you stress, the more hair will fall out. So, make sure that you do things that make you de-stressed like;
· Get away from your place, hang out & sleepover with friends
· Do meditation
· Go for gentle oil massages
· Try & take a break to give time for your hobbies, be it painting, photography, gardening, or whatever.
· And if you’re a Muslim, do “The Surah Yasin therapy”…It is so soothing & relaxing.
2. Limit chemicals and damaging steps
I know it is really hard, but try to limit dying, hot-oil treatments, chemical-relaxing therapies, and over-styling your hair. It causes stress that makes your hair fall out. While hairstyles that pull your hair tight actually feeds the hair fall. Buy a hair wig (that too is in fashion trend) and give your own natural hair a break.
3. Include health food to your diet
Sometimes hair fall comes down to what nutrients you are skipping. Do consider adding these ingredients to your diet to stop departing your hair chunks.
· Spinach and iron-rich foods
· Carrots
· Egg & dairy products
· Oats
· Walnuts
· Lentils
· Poultry meat
· Strawberries
· Yogurt
· Vitamin C rich foods
· And loads and loads of water
4. Organic supplements and products
To control my hair loss, I use, the natural Hair, skin, and nail supplement by Invite Health. Its a balanced combination of Zinc, Biotin, Methylsulfonylmethane, L-Proline, L-Lysine and some other ingredients that strengthen the hair game positively. It retails for $33.95 but with this Invite Health promo code, you can get a flat 50% discount.
Also, I take some homeopathic tabs (OM12 hair by Biogetica) that stimulate the follicles and have been improving the quality and the quantity of my hair. This one retails for $19, but you can avail a fortune off on your purchase with these Biogetica coupon codes.
5. Better Sleep routine
Sleep plays an important role in allowing the body to repair and regenerate, and promote hair growth. However, in today’s fast-paced world, sleep comes secondary to work.
We all know that 6–8 hours of sleep is a self-detox period for the body. Well, for that, I would only suggest organizing your work and sleeping schedule.
6. Improve Blood circulation
Frequent brushing stimulates the blood cells that help to lock the hair to fall out and stimulates hair health & growth. So, make sure you brush your hair to your scalp at least twice a day.But still, I have to mention that there may be some extreme cases where natural treatments may not work well. Well, in those cases, I do suggest seeking professional help.
